Epiphany at Maison Constanti

Celebrated every first Sunday of January, the Epiphany is a Christian feast. It celebrates the adoration of Jesus by the Magi: Gaspard, Melchior and Balthazars who came from the East guided by a bright star they had seen in the sky. In France, the galette des rois is the gourmet representation of this tradition. Zoom on our star of the day.

The “galette des rois” comes in many different forms and recipes. In the south-west of France, it is the brioche des rois perfumed with orange blossom and decorated with candied fruits that is the most consumed. The Parisians are followers of the frangipane while in the West we find cakes based on shortcrust pastry.

At Maison Constanti, we celebrate the Epiphany by offering three versions of this round and golden cake to delight all taste buds. All our recipes pay tribute to French craftsmanship by offering festive and gourmet cakes handmade by our touriers. From the “Parisienne” to the “1923” and ending with our “Couronne des Rois” our collection is exclusively made from quality raw materials from controlled agriculture.

And finally, to make your epiphany as beautiful as tasty, our House hides in each of its creations a crown-shaped bean …

Will you find the Maison Constanti bean?
